On the occasion of World Population Day on July 11th, “Desh Bangla Foundation(DBF)” Jhalkathi held a courtyard meeting and distributed health materials and sanitary napkins among the girls.Deputy Director Family Planning Jhalkathi Mr. Shahidul Islam was present as chief guest, Director Shuklal Baidya, Women Vice Chairman Jhalkathi Sadar Mr. Salma Islam, Desh Bangla Foundation’s full-time doctor Mr. Taufiq Anwar, Assistant Director Sahima Akhter Underprivileged pregnant mothers and teenagers in the area were also present as special guests.Rija Faruqi, Coordinator, Desh Bangla Foundation, Jhalkathi, conducted the program.
The event was presided over by Mr. SM Mizanur Rahman, Chairman, Desh Bangla Foundation(DBF), Jhalkathi.
