কনডম কী ?
কনডম প্রধানত যৌনসংগমকালে ব্যবহৃত এক প্রকার জন্মনিরোধক বস্তু। এটি মূলত গর্ভধারণ ও গনোরিয়া, সিফিলিস ও এইচআইভি-এর মতো যৌনরোগের প্রতিরোধক হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়। এটি পুরুষদের উত্থিত পুরুষাঙ্গে পরানো হয়। রেতঃস্খলনের পর কনডম যৌনসঙ্গীর শরীরে বীর্য প্রবেশে বাধা দেয়। কনডম জলাভেদ্য, স্থিতিস্থাপক ও টেকসই বলে একে অন্যান্য কাজেও লাগানো যায়। বীর্যহীনতা চিকিৎসায় ব্যবহারের জন্য কনডমের মধ্যে করে বীর্য সংগ্রহ করা হয়। জলাভেদ্য মাইক্রোফোন তৈরি ও রাইফেলের ব্যারেল নোংরা পচা বস্তু দ্বারা বুজে যাওয়া আটকাতেও কনডম ব্যবহৃত হয়।

কনডম কীভাবে ব্যবহার করবেন?

- প্রথমে কনডমের প্যাকেটের যে কোন এক দিকে ধরে ভালোভাবে প্যাকেট খুলে ফেলুন। কনডমের প্যাকেট দাঁত দিয়ে কাটতে যাবেন না কিংবা মাঝ বরাবর প্যাকেট ছিড়বেন না। এক্ষেত্রে প্যাকেটের ভেতরে থাকা কনডম ছিড়ে যেতে পারে।
- প্যাকেটের ভেতর থেকে বের করার পর লক্ষ করুন যে কনডমটি কোন দিক থেকে ঘুরিয়ে খুলতে হবে। এটি সঠিকভাবে বুঝতে না পারলে সহবাসের সময় প্রচন্ড ব্যথা অনুভব হতে পারে। এক্ষেত্রে লুব্রিকেন্ট দিয়ে পিচ্ছিল করা দিক ভেতরের দিকে চলে গেলে মহিলাদের যোনি ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হওয়ার সম্ভাবনা থাকে।
- পিচ্ছিল দিকটি নির্ণয় করে এক হাতের দুই আঙ্গুল দিয়ে কনডমের মাথায় হালকা করে ধরুন এবং আরেক হাত দিয়ে রাবারের মোড়ানো অংশটি লিঙ্গ বরাবর স্থাপন করুন।
- এরপর আস্তে আস্তে রাবারে মোড়ানো দিক লিঙ্গের বরাবর পেছনের দিকে রোল করুন। এ সময় খেয়াল রাখতে হবে যে কনডমের মাথায় ফাঁকাস্থানে যেন কোন বাতাস ঢুকে না থাকে। বাতাস ঢুকে থাকলে সহবাসের সময় কনডম ফেটে যাওয়ার সম্ভাবনা থাকে।
- গোপনাঙ্গে কনডম পরানো হয়ে গেলে এবার আস্তে আস্তে তা আপনার সঙ্গিনের গোপনাঙ্গে প্রবেশ করান।
- মনে রাখতে হবে যে গোপনাঙ্গ উত্তেজিত না হওয়া পর্যন্ত কখনো কনডম পড়তে যাবেন না।
- মিলন শেষ হলে পারতপক্ষে লিঙ্গ উত্তেজিত অবস্থায় কনডমসহ বের করে আনুন। অন্যথায় বিব্রত পরিস্থিতির মুখোমুখি হতে হয়। লিঙ্গ বের করে আনার সময় লিঙ্গের গোড়ায় কনডমের রাবার হাত দিয়ে চেপে ধরুন যাতে লিঙ্গ থেকে কনডম খুলে না যায়।
- এরপর টয়লেটে গিয়ে কনডম খুলে ফেলে দিন এবং গোপনাঙ্গ পানি দিয়ে ভালোভাবে ধুয়ে ফেলুন।
কনডমের সুবিধা কী?

কনডম ব্যবহারে তেমন কোন অসুবিধা এখন পর্যন্ত পরিলক্ষিত হয়নি। তবে এটি ব্যবহারের ফলে লিঙ্গের ওপর একটা আবরণ করে বলে সহবাসের আসল স্বাদ অনেকেই অনুভব করতে পারেন না। তাছাড়া কনডমে ব্যবহৃত লুব্রিকেন্ট এর কারণে অনেকের এলার্জির সমস্যা দেখা দেয়।
